T-KWAN Journal - Finishing projects and a years gathering.



Sorry I dipped out for a few without saying anything. Been fighting some things.

Well 2015 is gone. It's been interesting. Done some cool stuff and some not so cool stuff. I have broken barriers while at the same time losing myself to old cages. I've branched out into some interesting new mediums and have uncovered fresh new talents. My dreams keep growing and my visions are becoming more vivid. I've taken steps to rebuild myself and have found wondrous and illusive secrets. I have reached out to a few, made bridges, burned bridges and acquired a few scars too. My sanctuaries have become more fortified. I've filled another sketchbook. only in one semester too. I still feel like I'm up against a wall but for the first time in a long time I think I might be able to break through. I'm winning old wars and preparing for new ones. I am in the inbetween and I'm just waiting for everything to fall down around me. Until then I will continue to strengthen my spirit, soul, and body, and hopefully I can handle it when it does.



So what does all of this mean deviously?

Well I think last years experiment (project 41) was overall a success.
I definitely intend to make this system a standard in the future of my DA.
That means weekly deviations on the dot. Gotta work on that punctuality.
More music radios. Multinational entertainment of a greater variety.
more sketches and in progress sneak peaks.

I'm going to make the art regimen ten times more solid. Its going to be an avalanche of awesome, but before I can unleash the sweet I gotta go build that army. I've already laid the ground work but I've got some things to accomplish if this flame is going to last. I have more than enough line-work to last for years but processing all of it and getting some good color into the mix is going to be a mountain of a choir and currently I'm up to my eyes in school and haven't been able to move forward much lately and I expect this to continue for a while unfortunately. I hate to say it but I have other responsibilities to attend to right now as well as some serious personal issues that need to be resolved. That is why I have decided to take the next year off from deviant art. All stop. Solid. Of coarse that doesn't mean I won't still be around. In fact quite the opposite. I intend to take this opportunity to redefine my Deviant journal making process, With Topic separations and closer looks into the makings of and so forth. As well as with the exception of the currently owed commissions that are certainly not forgotten. I have the sketches down but It seems I cannot bring myself to do any less than good work and I refuse to rush the projects. I hope that all involved will continue to be patient with me.

Although school is keeping me from being defiantly active it has me well artistically active and I have many wondrous things to show you when they are complete. 




I've decided to put the halloween mutant bat project off until next halloween. I think it would really benefit with some extra work. And this has turned out to be a project that goes far deeper than I could have possibly forseen but that's what I love about art. Not only does the art evolve but your skills right along with it and this one has certainly been growing rapidly. It started out as just a sketch and an experiment but now I think it deserves to be a full sprint for exelence.

I think he deserves to play on halloween anyway since he missed the party last year.



So in short I've got a lot to do and already a lot done. My list of things to do has gotten wildly overfilled so I will be away this year building my fortress of fun, so until then, stay sharp!

Hows it goin?

Skipped out last week. Went on a camping trip of sorts. had a good time. didn't upload anything that week though, that's why.

Schools been picking up momentum. Trying to make my homework deviantart related so you might be seeing some stuff like that in the future. Going to make a magazine. thinking that'll be cool. already got the cover done, but i'd like to upload it in full, so that's gonna be on the back burner for a while. This way although school will be taking most of my time it will still keep me active here on deviant art.

The amnis project is coming along, however slowed due to school and life etc. The line sharpening is just about done and I'll have that uploaded soon. then I'll put the base paint on and upload that, then I'll work on shading and lighting and finally polish it all off for a final version. Looking forward to seeing how it'll turn out.

Also been working on my glow in the dark skills with a little practice doodle that has, like many before it, turned into a much bigger project. It's just too cool. i can't help myself. Already learned some interesting things. No worries, I'll share the whole thing when it's done.

In the mean time I'm going to be leaning on photography for a while. I've already gathered up a decent well of interesting photos. They're not the best since I just have an el cheapo 20 dollar camera. but I get along with it fairly well and the quality isn't really all that bad. I've got some thunderstorms, sunrises, and some interesting flora and fauna. Not to mention random other things.

It looks to be a trend that most all of the uploading will be on the weekends for the foreseeable future.

Radio Notes:  Since the startup of school, like many of you, I'll be a little more preoccupied and my access to an internet connection will be more limited so I likely will not be able to be on the radio many Wednesdays but I will certainly be keeping up with the posting each week, just on odd days.
